History
Sa.Mi. Frutta “Santorelli Michele Frutta” was founded in 1995 led by Dr. Santorelli Antonio, and still now family owned under the finest direction of his son Michele Santorelli together with Filomena Alessandra Santorelli.
Dr. Santorelli’s passion and long year experience for cherries made him start, together with his family, business in the 70’s becoming soon an international leading in cherry processing.
Passion for cherry processing passed down quickly from father to sons, and Michele still young in 1995 started a profitable experience supplying from abroad raw material to be processed on site in Italy.
The company
Sa.Mi. Frutta today has expanded its organizational and production structure, a strong experienced production and historical work combined with a know-how knowledge for research and development including new professional roles oriented towards the creation of new products and new reference markets.
Staff
Our team, retained to the company, is staffed by highly qualified people that operate with a twenty year trust and honestly relationship first with Dr. Santorelli Antonio and after with his sons now in charge.
Sa.Mi. Frutta’s long year experience and continuous training team can certainly enrich and empower all new recruits that arrive for company growth.
The factory
Located in Campania, in Sperone in the province of Avellino.
The company has 2 industrial warehouses for a total of approximately 4000 m2 with an industrial square of approximately 30,000 m2

On the experience there is added even the innovation of the machinery, such as the optical sorters and the new automated coloring system, which improves the quality of the product.
